Back to experiences

A night safari offers travellers a totally different experience, serving up new wildlife sightings that cannot necessarily be seen during the day. It also comes with breathtakingly beautiful starry night skies and much cooler, pleasant temperatures.

Indian forests are generally quite dense and offer limited visibility even during the day, but at night, with only the game vehicle’s headlights and field guide’s torches for illumination, the element of surprise is further amplified. It is during these darker hours that the big cats are on the move, which makes everyone’s eyes laser focused on seeing stripes and rosettes in the flash.

In general, nocturnal life in the forests is extremely underrated and besides seeing cats, night drives show travellers just how alive the forests can be when the sun sets and the wild creatures come out to forage and feast.
