An unforgettable Jungle Experience

Pench National Park is a must-see for nature lovers. It’s a spectacular natural reserve, set among typical central Indian teak jungle, offering untouched nature and spectacular game viewing experiences.

Named after the Pench River which meanders through the park, Pench is home to a staggeringly high density of ungulates (like spotted deer, sambar deer, and gaur), as well as tigers, leopards and a wonderful array of bird species.

Best time to go

November to March – Dry Cool Season

This is the dry, cool season and the best time to visit. Days are pleasant and nights are cool.

During this season, the teak dominated forests of Pench shed their leaves, offering travellers a spectacular array of autumn colours.

This is a great time to experience game drives in the Park, with golden grasses and open woodlands offering greater visibility.

The sheer beauty of its landscape of hills, forests and valleys is enough to warrant a visit, but the multitude of activities that can be experienced make this a must for your itinerary.

Starstruck

Spend the night stargazing on a ‘machan’, an elevated wooden structure that farmers in India use to rest on while protecting their fields from wild animals (like wild boar, nilgai and spotted deer) that try to raid their crops.

Luxury tented living

While your interiors are spacious and lavishly furnished with all the facilities you need, the authenticity of sleeping in the jungle under a canvas tent is truly unique.
